Day 01 – Thursday the 28 th of December 2023 Arrival Siem Reap
Arrival at the airport in Siem Reap city. Meet our guide at the airport and

Afternoon, start your tour with a short drive to visit Kampong Phluk floating village, a permanent settlement on the
Tonle Sap Lake with a small land based village attached to it. Its remarkable mangrove forest is unique in the Siem
Reap area. You will board a local boat and cruise the waterways observing the authentic and diverse lifestyle of the
local floating community. Return to the city and if time permits, we will explore Phsar Chas (AKA Old Market) and the
handicraft centre of Artisans D’ Angkor.

Day 02 – Friday the 29 th of December 2023 Siem Reap – Kulen & Banteay Srei
Breakfast at Hotel
Proceed to 40km north of Angkor Wat, the Phnom Kulen Mountain range provides Siem Reap with water and
dominates the skyline of the flat plains surrounding it. Although the highest peak of the mountain range lies at only
487m, Phnom Kulen has much to offer visitors. The Cambodian people regard the site as the birthplace of the
ancient Khmer Empire. King Jayavarman II claimed independence from Java there in 802 A.D.
Travel in the morning by car through the countryside to Phnom Kulen and start the rather steep climb up by car. On
top of the mountain you will visit a modern style pagoda that offers stunning views over the Angkor area. Visit the
eight meter tall statue of a reclining Buddha and wash your hands at the Linga statue to purify your mind and body.
Continue to visit the River of One Thousand Lingas and the magnificent waterfall close to it. Take a refreshing swim
in the stream and pool of the waterfall.

Proceeding drive to mountain to visit Banteay Srei, the only major temple that was not built by a monarch. It was
constructed in the 10th century and was dedicated to the Hindu god – Shiva. Banteay Srei translates to “Citadel of
the Women” and is one of Angkor’s most significant structures as its walls are decorated with elaborate carvings
which have been preserved remarkably well.

Day 03 – Saturday the 30th of December 2023 Siem Reap - Danang
Early morning at about 5.00 am, take a short drive to see sunrise at Angkor Wat, one of the modern wonders of the
world. You will then explore the site and be amazed by the sheer size of the temple and learn how the Khmer Empire
prospered between the 9th and 13th centuries, around the time when Angkor Wat was built. Stroll through the
intricately carved hallways that show hundreds of fine carvings and discover small shrines still in use today by the local
people.
Transfer to Siep Ream hotel at 08.30 for Breakfast.

Proceed to discover Angkor, you will explore Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire with its
centerpiece; the Bayon temple. As you approach, you will notice the enigmatic faces of former King Jayavarman VII
looking in every direction. Your guide will take you to the Terrace of the Elephants, which served as a platform from
where the King could welcome back his victorious army, and the Terrace of the Leper King, which holds detailed
carvings winding along a narrow passageway that leads to the Baphuon complex. End the day with Ta Prohm temple.
This beautiful temple is overgrown with fig trees, giving a haunting yet exotic atmosphere. The magnificent roots of
the trees have merged over the centuries with the temple’s huge stone blocks, emphasizing a ‘forgotten city’ feeling.

Day 04 – Sunday the 31 st of December 2023 Banahills – Danang

Proceed to Ba Na Hill through one of the most beautiful seaside streets of Central Vietnam.
Arrive in Ba Na, you will have a chance to experience the two – UNESCO – record cable system up to the top of the hill
and enjoy the beautiful sight of Mo stream, Toc Tien waterfall with the impressive dazzling white spume.

From Debay station, you will get on the second cable system to move to Nui Chua Peak – the rooftop of Da nang City.

Visit Linh Chua Linh Tu temple, enjoy a panoramic view of the whole Da Nang city and Da Nang bay through the mist
in a romantic afternoon on Ba Na peak.
Go down by the cable system. Get on coach and return the city centre.

Departure to Hoi An. We will take a walking tour of Hoi An to discover the historic town which used to be a
prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An colorful local market, Tan Ky old house,
Fukien Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise
silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

Welcome to Hanoi. Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with
Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are
roughly arranged by trade. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel.
